Farbatex® series are basically two component inks. These inks along with Sure® pads and Prectieel® plates give extra ordinary sharp and sure results. Farbatex® inks are very durable and are soft in feel.

All the Farbatex® tagless printing ink series are certified ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® which is an individualistic testing and certification practice for chemicals, colorants, and auxiliaries used in the leather and textile industry, in addition to this, they are phthalate-free and PVC-free inks for tags. Even more importantly for intimate apparel, ink tags are NAMSA-confirmed to have zero skin irritation. Garments printed with farbatex-pad printing inks can survive upto 50 rugged and hard industrial washes without cracking and fading.

The extra opaque (EO) white ink is offers extra opacity on dark or black garments with same softness, expandability, washing durability and lower costs. No need for extra equipment for printing highly opaque white color on dark garments. However, Spinks Tagless pad printer is suggested, which picks up the ink twice and delivers it in one go, ensuring high registration and precision in one stroke.

ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX®: A multi-step confirmation procedure examines whether the chemical products and each individual ingredient meet the precise requirements with regard to sustainability, security, and compliance with statutory regulations that are not harmful to human beings’ health.

Stage 1: Screening of Restricted Substance List (RSL) and Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) 

Stage 2: Analytical verification performed in an OEKO-TEX® member institute laboratory

Stage 3 (optional): Verification of product stewardship standards regarding the operating conditions and environmental management (assessment and On-site visit).

All chemical compounds, colorants, and accessories used for the forming of textiles and leather materials can be endorsed in accordance with ECO PASSPORT. This certification gives clear strict criteria for more than 300 harmful substances, also meets international restrictions on harmful chemicals. This also covers industry-specific formulations (chemical compounds) for the textile, leather, and clothing industry. Specially formulated inks for natural, artificial woven and non-woven fabrics, wool, fleece, denims, cotton, ribbed cotton, nylon and flock, leather, latex rubber, Spandex material, t-shirts, sportswear, baby apparel, polyester, poly blends, sport/stretch fabrics (Lycra, Spandex, Elastane, Viscose etc.) and on hard goods etc, underwear, lingerie, uniforms, footwear, chef’s jackets etc. Tagless labels can either be applied using heat transfers, pad printing, or screen printing.

The certification system ECO PASSPORT is intended for manufacturers of process chemicals, colorants, and compounds. The leather and textile chemicals accredited in accordance with the ECO PASSPORT have been tested for toxic elements in significant concentrations as listed in the ECO PASSPORT standard. The label also gives sheer proof of which objects meet the guidelines for ecologically responsible textile and leather manufacture. 

Once per year, OEKO-TEX® renews the banned substances and limit values and extends them to incorporate new systematic findings or statutory requirements.
